How to Install or Replace Your Screen

Swapping out your screen is a quick process that ensures your Micro Ripper continues to perform at its peak.

1. Remove the Old Screen: Use a small tool or pick to gently push the used basket screen up from the bottom, and remove from the glass bowl.
2. Position the New Basket: Take a fresh screen from your 10-pack and place it into the top of the bowl, with the “cup” of the basket facing downwards.
3. Seat into Place: Gently press the centre of the basket down into the bowl until it sits against the internal glass ledge. Your screen is now securely installed and ready for use.

Maintenance and Cleaning

To maintain the purest flavour and maximum airflow, we recommend regular  replacing or cleaning of your basket screens. If you wish, the screens can be washed in alcohol (ISO).

• ISO Wash: When you notice resin build-up, simply remove the screen and soak it in Isopropyl Alcohol (ISO) for a few minutes. This will dissolve any stubborn residue.
• Ensure They Are Dry: After cleaning, rinse the screen with warm water. Crucially, make sure the screens are fully dry before reinstalling them into your Micro Ripper.
